Congratulations! This can be an exciting time, but it can also be filled with uncertainty. Below are some resources for your mental, spiritual, and physical well-being during this important time.

Willowbrook Women’s Center – FREE & Confidential pregnancy testing & resource center
Birthright International – FREE & Confidential pregnancy testing & resource center
Carseat information – carseat safety information for all ages
Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) – nutrition assistance for those who qualify
Wonderfully Made – Childbirth Education Classes based on the Lamaze Six Healthy Birth Practices (prenatal care, labor and delivery and postpartum care and they are hands on classes for expecting moms and their support person)
Pregnancy Resource Center – parenting classes, higher education, support groups
Prenatal exercise class
– Spine & Sport
The Yoga Room, LLC – occasionally offers prenatal & family yoga classes

Babies are such a joy & blessing, and also messy and hard. And even harder when you don’t have family or friends to lean on. Whether you’re a first-time parent or a pro, here are some resources for that infant age.

Mosaic Breastfeeding/Pumping support – every Thursday 4:30-6:30pm (Facebook group) & every Monday & Thursday 1:30-3:30pm at Mosaic (come & go, weight checks, trouble shooting, etc)
Andrew County Health Department – breastfeeding support group 1st Tues of the month
WIC Breastfeeding support – 816-271-4880 – peer counselors, prenatal & breastfeeding education

St. Joseph Cloth Diaper Buy-Sell-Trade – A good place to buy, sell, or trade cloth diapers
Babywearing International – find safety information for all kinds of babywearing
NW Missouri Babywearing Support group – hosts meet-ups, get hands on help with using your baby carrier
